It’s not a huge increase by raw numbers, but Osage County has doubled its active coronavirus caseload in two days.
Osage County went from five active cases Tuesday to seven Wednesday. It has now added three as of Thursday morning. The county is now at 25 today cases since the pandemic started in March.
Further details about the recent trend are pending.
Other area counties have not seen much, if any, of an increase in active cases recently. Lyon County’s active caseload has dropped nine since Monday and now stands at 18 with an update coming Thursday afternoon. Chase County has added one case over the past week, while Wabaunsee County has added two active cases. Other area counties have seen flat active caseloads over the past one to three weeks.
