Court proceedings against a man accused of sexually abusing a teenager in Lyon County last year are resuming.
Lucio Meza-Oliva stands accused of molesting a then-16-year-old girl after an incident in May 2019. Meza-Oliva was formally accused last summer, but the case has seen several notable delays, including one for a change in attorney and another because the alleged victim was out of the country for a period of time.
Meza-Oliva is formally accused of single counts of aggravated indecent liberties, indecent solicitation, aggravated witness intimidation and witness intimidation. His next court appearance is a preliminary hearing Sept. 9.
