Storms are possible across the KVOE listening area after midnight and through the morning hours Thursday.
Thunderstorms may be strong, especially before sunrise. The Storm Prediction Center has a slight to marginal risk posted for Thursday morning, with the slight risk along and west of the Kansas Turnpike. Damaging wind is the main concern, with hail and heavy rainfall also possible.
A slight risk of severe storms is also in place for Thursday night, but the overall storm threat depends on whether the atmosphere recharges after Thursday morning’s activity.
