Lyon County commissioners have a study session Wednesday morning.
Commissioners will spend the bulk of the meeting in a study-and-information gathering mode as they work towards issuing a new public health order on coronavirus. The county hasn’t updated its current public health order since early June and has to consider several factors, including a gradual increase in both overall and active cases and Governor Laura Kelly’s mandate of wearing masks in public settings from last week.
Following that discussion, an executive session on legal matters is planned.
The study meeting starts at 9 am in the County Courthouse.
