Lyon County Public Health is reporting 8 new COVID-19 cases since last Thursday.
That increases the total number of confirmed positive and probable positive cases to 510.
There were 3 new recoveries for 475.
The number of active cases has increased by 5 to 27.
Osage County is reporting 5 active cases with 12 recoveries for 17 total cases. Osage County is also reporting 60 ordered quarantined cases.
Chase County is reporting 1 new active case. That increases the total number of cases in Chase County to 5.
Coffey, Greenwood, Morris and Wabaunsee are reporting no active cases based on their most recent reports.
982 new COVID-19 cases are being reported by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment in Mondays update.
The new cases were reported over the 3 day 4th of July weekend.
There are now 16901 confirmed positive and probable positive coronavirus cases in Kansas.
Revised numbers show that last Thursday there was an all time high of 497 new cases diagnosed. Friday there were 481 new cases diagnosed. Saturday there were 208 new cases diagnosed.
There were 3 new deaths reported over the weekend for 280 deaths in Kansas.
