The North Lyon County School District officially begins a new era with its monthly meeting Wednesday.
Robert Blair presides over his first meeting as district superintendent after nearly a decade of leading USD 114 Riverside. He succeeds Mike Mathes, who retired after two years of leading the district on an interim basis.
The agenda for Wednesday night’s meeting is full. The board will have its annual reorganization at the start of the meeting before a raft of approvals and annual designations. Discussions about board policies, suicide policies and handbook adjustments are planned before possible approval of the classified salary schedule.
The meeting will start at 5:30 pm at the board meeting room in Americus.
