We have had our fair share of coronavirus closings and cancellations recently, but one facility has reopened to the public.
Southeast KansasWorks at 215 West Sixth has reopened to help residents build resumes, search for jobs, brush up on interview skills and line up referrals for employment. People coming to KansasWorks have to pass a COVID-19 screen, including temperature checks, and masks are required inside the office. Folks that can’t pass the screen can still take advantage of virtual services.
Hours are 8:30 am to noon and 1-4 pm weekdays except Thursdays, when the office opens at 9 am. Call 342-3355 for more information.
