A trial docket call is upcoming for a man accused in Lyon County District Court of several instances of unlawful sexual activity with teenagers and pre-teenagers.
Derek Erwin Stefan, 41, will be in court July 24 to learn potential trial dates after a hearing late last week.
Stefan faces seven counts of promoting obscenity, three counts of sexual exploitation and single counts of electronic solicitation and violating the Kansas Offender Registry Act, after alleged activity with five victims ranging in age from 10 to 16. Authorities allege illegal sexual activity periodically from September 2017 to February 2018.
The affidavit in the case is sealed.
