For the second night in a row the Emporia Junior baseball team will not be playing Wednesday night.
The Tuesday doubleheader with the Salina Eagles was canceled. Iola canceled the doubleheader scheduled for Wednesday when they were in Emporia for the Summer Slam tournament. The 17s are hoping to add a few more games.
Their next scheduled games are July 7th against the Kansas Senators.
The Emporia Senior team was scheduled to play in a tournament at Fort Scott beginning Friday. Coach Anthony Markowitz says there will be no tournament.
The 19s are next scheduled to host the Sam Ellis Classic beginning July 10.
