An audit report will highlight the Emporia City Commission’s study session Wednesday morning.
The city of Emporia’s external auditor Michael Keenan with Cochran Head Vick and Co, CPA’s will present the city’s annual report for 2019. This will be the first year the firm has audited the city’s financial records.
City staff will also present an overview of legislative updates which may be of interest to the city of Emporia. Separately discussions on Rural Water District #2 and a CIP review of the city’s engineering, street, airport, shop, PWC, parks, golf and zoo departments will also take place.
The meeting begins at 10 am inside the Municipal Courtroom at White Auditorium.
