SOS Strong officially begins Monday.
The sixth annual fundraiser brings attention to the ongoing SOS effort to end domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse.
Seventeen men are involved this year, including KVOE News reporter Tagan Trahoon. Each participant is trying to raise at least $1,000 for the cause. They have also taken a pledge to lead by example, not blame victims, be a positive upstander rather than a willing bystander, not engage in any acts of violence, and always speak for what is right.

The kickoff is at 5:30 pm at Hammond Park. The awards celebration will be July 22 at Lyon County State Bank, 902 Merchant.
