Morris County will end most of its COVID-19 restrictions next week.
The Morris County Health Department made the announcement Friday with the goal of ending most restrictions Monday. There is a mass gathering limit of 100 people. Social distancing and mask use in public are both encouraged. Travel deemed as nonessential can take place but residents are encouraged to follow the state’s quarantine guidelines.
Chase and Greenwood counties have already ended their COVID-19 restrictions. Wabaunsee County increased its mass gathering limit to 90 people. A decision on Lyon County’s current restrictions is tentatively set for July 9.
