The MIAA CEO council approved changes to the schedules of all sponsored sports for the upcoming school year Monday.
The changes are based on the schedule changes made by the NCAA Division II Presidents Council in May.
Football teams will play 10 games. The schedules will be released Tuesday.
All non-conference games have been eliminated for mens and womens basketball and womens soccer.
Volleyball will have an option to play non-conference matches.
The other sports will follow NCAA guidelines.
Soccer and Volleyball schedules will be released Wednesday.
Mens and Womens basketball schedules will be released Thursday.
Softball, baseball and Tennis will have their schedules released Friday.
The post season championships have also been altered.
The basketball tournaments will be played over 4 days and feature the top 8 teams.
Softball and baseball will be played over 4 days and feature the top 8 teams.
Soccer will be played over a weekend and feature the top 4 teams.
Volleyball will be held over 2 days and feature the top 6 teams.
The track and field, indoor and outdoor, meets will be held over 2 days.
The tennis tournaments will be played over 2 days. The men will feature the top 4 teams and the women the top 6 teams.
