Minor injuries resulted from a crash outside Burlington early Friday.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says the wreck happened shortly after midnight at 14th and Garner, or about 6.5 miles northwest of Burlington. The car’s driver, 28-year-old John Wiedmer of Gridley, was westbound on 14th and went off the road for currently unknown reasons. The car hit a concrete culvert and flipped onto its top.
Wiedmer was taken to Coffey County Hospital in Burlington for treatment afterward. He was not wearing his seatbelt.
