The Emporia Seniors under-19 baseball team is getting after it with games at the Topeka Seaman Tournament.
The Seniors play McPherson at 5:30 pm Friday, followed by back-to-back games against the Topeka Scrappers and Topeka Bruins on Saturday. Game times are 10 am and noon. The Seniors also play Sunday.
The Seniors are 2-0 for the season, having defeated the Ottawa Arrows in a doubleheader earlier this week.
There are no results yet for the Emporia Juniors under-17 team that played against Newton on Thursday. Both teams would have been sponsored by the American Legion, but the Legion is not sponsoring a regular summer season or postseason this year.
