(ESPN) Iowa sophomore linebacker Dillon Doyle, son of longtime Hawkeyes strength and conditioning coach Chris Doyle, announced Tuesday that he is entering the transfer portal.
Dillon Doyle’s decision comes three days after Iowa placed Chris Doyle on administrative leave, pending an external investigation into a series of claims of mistreatment by former players.
Dillon Doyle didn’t directly reference his father’s situation in announcing his departure.
