Nearly 410 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Lyon County as we start the month of June.
Officially, there are 408 confirmed and probable positive cases since mid-March. Friday had five recovered patients for a total of 347. There are 58 active cases, up five from Thursday and up 14 from last Tuesday. Four people have died.
Areawide, there were two updates over the weekend. Chase County says one of its recent cases is from Lyon County, so the Chase County total is now at three with all patients recovered.
Greenwood County added a case, a woman in her 30s. The Health Department is not confirming whether the new patient is the one announced Sunday as the second staff member infected at Greenwood County Hospital in Eureka. The county now has 10 overall cases and seven active cases.
Coffey County has 50 total cases, 42 of which have recovered. Eight people have died.
Morris County has five cases, two of which are active.
Osage County has seven cases. All patients have recovered.
Wabaunsee County has 31 total cases, five of which are active.
Kansas has 9,719 cases with 208 deaths.
