Another slight increase in the number of COVID-19 cases in Lyon County. Lyon County Public Health is reporting 5 new cases for 398 confirmed positive and probable positive cases in Thursdays update.
There have been 19 new cases reported since last Thursday, May 21.
2 new recoveries have been added for 342.
There are 53 active cases in Lyon county, that is an increase of 3 from Wednesdays update.
14 cases are being reported by the 6 counties surrounding Lyon county.
Greenwood County is reporting 6 active cases.
Greenwood County did discover that the 9th case reported in the county has relocated and is now a part of that countys positive numbers. However another positive case was reported Thursday. The number of positive cases stays at 9 with 6 of the cases active.
Wabaunsee County is reporting 5 active cases.
Morris County is reporting 2 active cases.
Chase County is reporting 1 active case.
Osage and Coffey Counties are reporting no active cases.
Kansas Department of Health and Environment will release a new update Friday.
