The Lyon County History Center has announced its new plan for reopening along with its new Youtube channel which will showcase items in the History Centers collection.
The History Center will open its doors to members only starting on June 2 with operational hours being Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 10am-2pm. The History Center hopes to have a full public opening by June 10.
KVOE spoke with Greg Jordan, Executive Director of the Lyon County History Center, about how the YouTube videos provide learning opportunities without the need to come into the History Center.
Jordan went on to say they will take requests on items people want to see. He also stated that they will continue to do research for those who request it.
