It’s budget season for local governments, and Lyon County commissioners will start having semi-regular study meetings this week to hear from department heads and allocation agency leaders.
Kansas Legal Services local director Ty Wheeler and Corner House Director Rodney Shepherd will discuss their respective budget requests for the upcoming calendar year.
Commissioners also have three executive sessions planned.
The meeting starts at 9 am and will be available for public viewing on the Lyon County Facebook page. County commissioners will meet with the Newman Regional Health Board of Trustees at noon.
