A vehicle pursuit which originated in Emporia Sunday afternoon concluded after the suspect vehicle crashed in Franklin County.
Details are still pending, however, the pursuit began in Emporia and involved a blue Ford van and Emporia Police Officers according to the Kansas Highway Patrol. The pursuit led northbound on Interstate 35 eventually crossing into Franklin County where for currently unknown reasons the van crashed concluding the chase.
