Sentencing is coming in July for a woman who recently pleaded no contest to aggravated escape from custody.
Samantha Scheve was charged in Lyon County District Court after an incident in early May 2019. Court documents provided to KVOE News indicate Scheve, 25, left the Lyon County Jail for treatment at Corner House but didn’t return as scheduled. Scheve was in jail at that time serving a 60-day sanction after failing to appear for a Drug Court violation.
Scheve could get up to 23 months in prison and a fine of up to $10,000 if she receives the maximum sentence. That hearing is July 1.
