Distracted driving apparently led to an injury crash on the Kansas Turnpike in southern Chase County early Friday.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says 23-year-old Sukhraj Singh of Ceres, California, was southbound and about six miles northeast of the Matfield Green service exit when he crashed about 12:30 am. Troopers says Singh was playing on his phone when the truck ran into the center median.
Singh suffered apparently minor injuries and did not need a hospital trip. He was wearing his seatbelt when the crash happened.
