Lyon County Public Health is reporting one new death and seven new confirmed and probable positive COVID-19 cases in Thursday’s update.
The patient who died was an Hispanic man in his 40s. Contact tracing investigations are underway, with all identified close contacts now quarantined at home.
The total number of confirmed positive and probable positive cases is now at 360.
There are 8 new recoveries for 286.
There are now 72 active COVID-19 cases in Lyon county.
There is 1 new hospitalization.

Wabaunsee County is reporting 11 active cases.
Osage County is reporting 1 active case.
Coffey, Chase, Greenwood and Morris Counties are reporting 0 active COVID-19 cases.
The Kansas Department of Health will release their next update Friday.
