Traffic was blocked for close to two hours at the intersection of Kansas Highway 99, Road 240 and Road L for a non-injury crash.
A northbound semi on K-99 had its rear trailer wheels go off the highway shortly before 11 am. The semi is carrying a wind turbine blade.
Lyon County deputies, Kansas Highway Patrol troopers and Kansas Department of Transportation crews responded to the scene. Law enforcement released to other duties once KDOT arrived. The highway reopened to traffic shortly before 1 pm.
The semi is among several moving through Lyon County on Wednesday. Authorities have not confirmed where the blades are heading.
