A memorial service date will be announced later after the recent death of Emporia businessman Warren Shown.
Shown was 65 when he died in a crash on Interstate 35 near BETO Junction on May 4.
Born in 1954 in Emporia, Shown was a machinist supervisor at Didde Press before owning and operating Shown Brothers Excavating.
Shown is survived by two children, three brothers and two sisters.
Cremation is planned.
