The Kansas Department of Health and Environment has issued its latest adjustment to the list of states needing an automatic 14-day quarantine if residents do any out-of-state travel.
Maryland is new to the list for travel on or after May 12. Other states and effective dates include:
*Massachusetts and Rhode Island on or after April 30
*Connecticut on or after April 6.
*Illinois or New Jersey on or after March 23.
*New York on or after March 15.
*Been on a cruise ship or river cruise on or after March 15.
*International travel on or after March 15.
Colorado and Louisiana have been removed from the quarantine list.
People also need to stay in quarantine if they had recent cruise ship travel or went to China, South Korea, Japan, Italy and Iran. Quarantine orders do not apply to critical infrastructure operations.
