Emporia City Commissioners will receive their latest financial update on city revenues during their regular meeting Wednesday morning.
The update will include a look at the city’s current financial position and recommended adjustments due to reductions in revenues due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, city staff will update plans for the city’s annual Fourth of July fireworks show.
Separately, commissioners will also discuss whether or not to continue the city’s participation in the Kansas Housing Resources Corporation’s emergency solutions grant as a pass-through recipient agency.
