Lyon County Public Health is reporting 19 new COVID-19 cases and 35 new recoveries in Mondays up-date.
Lyon County Public Health officials also announced a second fatality from COVID-19. They made that announcement during KVOE’s Talk of Emporia on Monday. The patient who died has been identified as a female in her 70s.
In Mondays update Lyon County Public Health is reporting 184 active cases.
6 of the patients are hospitalized.
There have been 249 positive tests out of 863 conducted.
There are 41 probable positives. There have been 107 recoveries.
Wabaunsee County is now reporting 27 cases with 2 recoveries and 1 hospitalization. The Wabaunsee County Health Department is reporting the majority of cases have come from 2 clusters, 1 private company, and 1 unauthorized party.
Coffey County is reporting 1 new case for 49 positive cases since testing began. There have been 2 new recoveries, for 37 recoveries. 4 active cases are being reported in Coffey County. The Coffey County Health Department is scheduling appointments again. All appointments must be scheduled, there will be no walk-ins.
Chase County is now reporting all 3 positive cases as recovered.
Morris, Osage and Greenwood counties are also reporting all positive cases as recovered.
The Kansas Department of Health and Environment is reporting 5245 positive cases, an increase of 215 cases from Sunday. There have been 136 deaths an increase of 2 from Sunday.
