Now that Kansas Governor Laura Kelly has released her plan for recovery from COVID-19 The Kansas State High School Activities Association has released its plan.
The High School Activities Association Board of Directors approved the plan by a 48-22 vote.
The plan will allow summer contact to begin on June 1st provided health departments have given approval.
The return will require 2 weeks of conditioning before organized competition for all sports except football which must have 15 days of conditioning.
Football teams can have team vs team camps including college contact camps. Camps can last for a max of 2 days.
The dead-line to have all team camps completed has been moved from July 18th till August 15th.
The week break in July has been eliminated.
All camps and work outs will be voluntary.
