Lyon County Public Health will no longer be reporting coronavirus case numbers on the weekend.
The reason for the change according to Lyon County Public Health Officer Renee Hively is due to no rapid testing occurring and a lack of individuals seeking testing over the weekend. Additionally, Hively says the break in reporting will allow her team to recharge for the week ahead.
Public Health will resume reporting on Monday.
As of Friday, Lyon County had a total of 270 confirmed and presumed positive tests with 227 of those confirmed. At this time there 198 active cases in Lyon County.
