Emporia State University will be launching a series of virtual town hall meetings Monday regarding plans for reopening.
The meetings will serve as an opportunity for ESU President Allison Garrett and Provost David Cordle to update students, staff and faculty on the university’s plan for a “phased reopening.” According to an email to students and staff provided to KVOE News from ESU, Monday’s meeting will include information such as what factors must be considered to allow for a reopening.
Attendees will also have time to ask specific questions during the meeting. The general public is welcome to attend the town hall, however, anyone wishing to do so must pre-register. Only registrants will receive a link to the Zoom event due to security reasons.
To register or submit questions in advance visit Emporia.edu/Live. The meeting begins at 2:30 pm Monday via Zoom.
