Lyon County has added 15 positive test results as the coronavirus pandemic continues.
The latest update from Lyon County Public Health pushes the number of total results to 251, including 218 confirmed positive patients. There are 62 recovered patients, including five from Wednesday, and now 189 active cases of confirmed and probable positive activity.
Three people are currently at Newman Regional Health for treatment.
Based on the latest available reports:
Wabaunsee County is reporting 19 active cases.
Coffey County is reporting 5 active cases.
Chase County is reporting 3 active cases.
Osage, Morris and Greenwood Counties are reporting no positive COVID-19 cases.
The Kansas Department of Health and Environment has reported its largest 1 day increase of 540 new cases. The total number of positive cases is now at 4328.
The reason for the increase is due to delays in report entry from some communities and positives found at the Lansing Correctional Facility.
There were 4 new deaths reported for 129 fatalities in Kansas due to COVID-19.
