Three people convicted in connection with robbing two local stores last year have all received prison terms.
Gustavo Perez-Garcia received 73 months in prison after convictions on two counts of robbery. He also was sentenced to over $9,000 in restitution.
Daniel McClead, also convicted on two counts of robbery, received 38 months in prison and restitution of over $9,000.
Ruby Garza was sentenced to 19 months in prison after being convicted on one count of conspiracy to commit robbery. She also received 24 months probation.
All three were charged after allegedly robbing the Casey’s convenience store on South Commercial Street twice and Angelina’s Fashion in downtown Emporia once in early June 2019.
