The Emporia woman accused of leading a law enforcement pursuit while driving a rental truck now faces aggravated assault and other charges in Lyon County District Court.
Jennifer Suzanne Fisher, 49, faces single counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, criminal threat and flee and elude, with an alternate flee and elude count also listed in court documents provided to KVOE News.
Authorities say Fisher allegedly pulled a knife on an unspecified person in the Burger King parking lot on April 18. Officers tried unsuccessfully to stop Fisher’s rental truck in the Walmart parking lot. Fisher briefly got out of the truck but then got back in and drove away, starting a chase that went to John North Ford before Fisher allegedly hit a pickup and then stopped. She was later arrested.
Fisher also allegedly pulled a knife and pointed it at a security guard at Hostess before the chase began.
