Emporia’s BP convenience store in west Emporia has fallen victim to coronavirus.
The store at West Sixth and Prairie is closed until further notice. Calls to the store have gone unanswered and the station’s parent company, Taylor Oil, has not commented at this time.
A notice on the front door says the gas pumps are available to the public. Customers can pay with a credit or debit card. They can also pay through a mobile app.
The notice says store management is adhering to all guidance from Lyon County Public Health.
