(yahoosports) The Kansas City Chiefs capped the 2019 season with their first Super Bowl win in 50 years. The oddsmakers think they won’t have to wait nearly that long for another.
Kansas City remains the betting favorite to win Super Bowl LV in Tampa, with their odds according to the William Hill Sportsbook dropping from 7/1 since January 20 to 4/1 now.
It’s no surprise. They’ve held together their starting lineup, with 20 of 24 starters returning. Along the way, they managed to re-do the contract of receiver Sammy Watkins, paving the way for him to remain with the Chiefs for the third and final year of his free-agent deal while also creating much-needed cap space.
The biggest departure was fifteen-year punter Dustin Colquitt. The best offense in the NFL could get even better this year, thanks to the addition in round one of running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire.
