Lyon County Public Health will not be releasing updated numbers Monday.
Beginning Tuesday they will release an update at 11am each day. This is to allow for a more complete picture with all of the data captured, according to Lyon County Deputy Jacob Welsh.
Sundays update reported 1 new positive test. This brings the total number of positive tests in Lyon County to 177. Six new recoveries were also reported putting the county’s total of active cases at 155.
Last week the county saw a total of 105 new confirmed positive cases with 75 reported between Tuesday and Thursday. Tuesday saw the largest single-day increase since testing began with 27.
The Wabaunsee County Health Department is reporting 15 active COVID-19 cases. All 15 are associated with Alma Foods.
The Coffey County health department is reporting no new positive cases. The count remains at 48. They are reporting 3 new recoveries. There have been 33 recoveries. There are now 8 active cases in Coffey County.
Osage County is reporting 5 total cases but only 1 active case.
Greenwood and Morris Counties are each reporting 3 total cases.
The Kansas Department of Health and Environment is reporting 3328 total cases, an increase of 154 cases from Sunday. 120 deaths have been reported, an increase of 2 from Sunday. KDHE is reporting that there have been 27,167 tests conducted with 23,839 negative tests.
