At least one sector of Emporia’s business community is starting to rev back up.
The Sweet Granada is resuming curbside pickups and online orders Monday after shutting those down for several weeks. On KVOE’s Morning Show on Monday, owner Kim Redeker said the store is ready with all the needed safety precautions.
In addition, payment will be “contactless” to ensure safety.
Last week, Salsa Street Mexican Grill resumed its curbside option after being completely closed for about a month.
Sweet Granada’s restart precedes a number of hints from Governor Laura Kelly she plans to ease restrictions in the current statewide stay-home order as soon as next Monday.
