Scattered rainfall led to moderate totals in and around Emporia on Wednesday.
The KVOE studios picked up around 0.50 inches of rain, while the Emporia Municipal Airport got 0.51 inches.
Greenwood County was in a flash flood watch for most of Wednesday, but flash flooding did not materialize. The Eureka Airport received 0.48 inches. Madison received 0.69 inches.

*Bazaar: 0.50 inches
*Plymouth: 0.25 inches
Rain may return early Friday after a mild and mainly sunny day Thursday. There is a better chance of showers and embedded thunderstorms Friday afternoon. the upcoming weekend should be dry and mild with temperatures in the upper 60s and low 70s.
