25 new positive COVID-19 tests have been confirmed by Lyon County Public Health Wednesday.
This brings the total number of cases to 135 in the county. Public Health is also reporting three new recoveries for a total of 36.
There are currently 120 active cases in Lyon County.
Coffey County is reporting no new positive tests. The positive case count remains at 47. They are reporting 5 new recoveries for 27. There are now 14 active cases in Coffey County.
Morris, Osage and Wabaunsee counties are each reporting 1 new COVID-19 positive test.
Morris County is reporting its 3rd positive case a male resident in his 30’s, who was identified as a contact to a known COVID 19 positive case in another Kansas county.
Osage County is reporting its 5th positive case a 62-year-old male. Information gathered so far indicates this case is connected to an outbreak outside Osage County.
The Kansas Department of Health and Environment reported a third case Wednesday in Wabaunsee County.
Greenwood county continues to report 3 positive cases.
Chase County is reporting 1 positive case.
The Kansas Department of Health and environment is reporting an increase of 186 new positive cases in Kansas. There are 2211 positive cases. There were 3 new deaths reported for 110.
There are 35 counties, of 105, in Kansas that have not reported a positive COVID-19 case.
