As Emporia’s downtown sanitary sewer project continues, a similar project is underway in Strong City.
Underground video inspections began Monday. This a citywide project, and the city is broken down into seven different inspection zones.
Renovations are tentatively set to begin next month and continue possibly through the rest of the year. City leaders and the project contractor, Bennett Heavy Construction of Lamar, Missouri, say there could well be several crews working simultaneously.
