Lyon County Public Health is reporting 10 new positive COVID-19 tests in Wednesdays report bringing that total to 42 positive tests.
Lyon County Public Health Information Officer Verlin Conkel says the reason for the spike is they received tests back from the lab.
There are 13 probable positive cases and 30 recoveries.
Some of the new information being provided by Lyon County Public Health shows of the 55 cases in Lyon County 37 are in Emporia, 10 are in North Lyon County and 8 are in South Lyon County.
33 of the cases are white/non-hispanic. 22 are hispanic.
33 are female and 22 are male.
The largest age group affected is the 51-60 age group with 14.
