Haven’t received your federal stimulus check? Well, let the Internal Revenue Service help.
The IRS online tool “Get My Payment” is now active. This lets residents track the status of their payment, including the date payments are scheduled for deposit. The IRS also will list whether it needs more information from residents in order to finalize payment. Residents will be asked for Social Security number, date of birth, street address and ZIP code.
Individuals are eligible for a one-time payment of up to $1,200. Married couples can receive up to $2,400 with payments of $500 for qualifying children. All payments are based on income.
More information about the Economic Impact Payments is online at www.irs.gov/coronavirus.
