Lyon County residents have been clamoring for more data since the coronavirus pandemic began, and Public Health has responded.
Public Health has generated a Situation Report daily for close to a month. Besides the current data sets such as the number of patients, genders and age distributions, the report now features general information about case locations — Emporia, north or south Lyon County — as well as patient ethnicity. The gender and patient number information is also presented in graph or chart form.
Residents have also asked for daily updates on the caseload at Newman Regional Health. That information is pending.
The Situation Report is available online at www.publichealth.lyoncounty.org/coronavirus and comes out every afternoon.
