Lyon County Public Health is reporting two new positive COVID-19 cases in Tuesday’s report.
This brings the total number of confirmed positive cases in Lyon County to 32 which is an increase of two cases since Monday. There are 12 probable positive cases at this time.
Public health is also reporting 27 recoveries.
Meanwhile, Coffey County is confirming three new positive cases and four recoveries in its daily report. The three cases involve a 59 yr. old male, a 59 yr. old female, and a 17 yr. old female and brings the county total of confirmed positive cases to 41.
The four new recoveries all come from the Life Care Center outbreak bringing the total number of Life Care recoveries to 13, including six residents. Three deaths have been reported in the county, all of which have been connected to the Life Care outbreak.
Osage County has four confirmed positive cases with three recoveries leaving the active total at one.
Chase, Greenwood, Morris and Wabaunsee counties have no active cases at this time.
As of Tuesday, the state count for positive cases is at 1,426 with 327 hospitalizations, 69 deaths and 12,721 negative tests.
