Northwest Chase County had two small earthquakes over the weekend, according to the Kansas Geological Survey.
On Saturday, there were two quakes about three hours apart. Both were about 10 miles northwest of Strong City. Both were also magnitude 2.7, with the first around 3:45 am and the second one around 6:45 am.
There were no reports of damage or injuries.
Another small quake hit April 9 about a mile west of the quakes from Saturday. There were no reports of damage or injuries with that magnitude 2.2 quake.
