Lyon County’s COVID-19 caseload continues to increase slowly but surely.
In it’s daily report Sunday, Lyon County Public Health announced one new positive case has been identified bringing the county total to 30 confirmed positive cases and 11 probable positives. 19 recoveries have also been reported bringing the number of active COVID-19 cases in the county to 11.
Of the probable positive and confirmed positive cases 17 have been identified as male while 24 are female. The majority of cases have been identified in individuals between the ages of 41-60 years old.
Meanwhile, Coffey County has 38 cases, including 13 recoveries and one fatality as of Friday. Osage County has three cases, including one recovery.
Across Kansas, there are 1,337 positive cases. 56 people have died, an increase of one death since Saturday.
