Isolated strong to severe thunderstorms have developed and are affecting parts of the KVOE listening area.
Storm reports
*Council Grove: Golf-ball-sized hail (1.75 inches) reported covering the ground
*Elmdale: Half-dollar-sized hail (1.25 inches) to egg-sized hail (2 inches)
There have also been isolated small power outages near Clements, Council Grove and Olivet.
Lyon and all surrounding counties are in a severe thunderstorm watch until 11 pm. The main concerns are hail up to 1.75 inches in diameter and wind gusts up to 70 mph.
