Gusty winds over the weekend have prompted the National Weather Service to issue high wind watches for two area counties.
Chase County has been placed in a watch from 7 am Sunday to 1 am Monday, while Morris County is in a separate watch from 7 am to 10 am Sunday. Wind gusts between 30-40 mph could blow down trees and power lines making widespread power outages a possibility.
